Rights, duties, and platform position
Broker411 is a carrier-side public notice board about freight brokers. It is not a court, not a credit bureau, and not FMCSA. Read this before you file, reply, or rely on a file.
How the platform positions itself
Broker411 publishes named carrier filings and named broker replies, next to a snapshot of public FMCSA fields. We host speech and public records. We do not certify that a filing is true, we do not grade brokers, and we do not tell anyone whom to haul for.
What the platform is not
We are not a consumer reporting agency and we do not furnish a credit, insurance, or safety score. We are not a law firm, arbitrator, factor, or surety. A green or red checklist item is a mechanical read of a public field, not a legal finding that the broker is authorized or bonded for your load.
Rights of carriers (filers)
You may file a firsthand business fact against an MC: non-payment, slow pay, double-broker, rate cut, TONU, silence, claim disputes, identity fraud, or other conduct you personally dealt with. Your company name and MC stay on the filing. You may retract in full for 72 hours. After that, a retract hides details but leaves a marker.
Duties of carriers
File only facts you can stand behind. Do not file rumors, competitor gossip, threats, or personal attacks. Do not impersonate another carrier. You are responsible for the words you publish. If a statement is false and injures a broker, that dispute is between you and them — not a warranty from Broker411.
Rights of brokers
The broker of record on the MC may publish a reply on the same report. Readers see both sides. Brokers may keep an account, update their profile, and ask the platform to hide content that is illegal, off-topic, or clearly impersonating their MC.
Duties of brokers
Do not retaliate against a named filer with threats or blacklists as a condition of payment already earned. A reply must be about the load or the filing, not a personal attack. You remain solely responsible for paying carriers under your contracts and federal rules.
What Broker411 does not take responsibility for
We are not liable for unpaid freight, lost loads, factoring decisions, FMCSA enforcement, or any business choice you make after reading a file. We are not liable for stale or incomplete public data copied from L&I, Motus, or SAFER. We are not liable for user speech. Hosting a report is not an endorsement. Check the official FMCSA record and your own contracts before you book.
FMCSA data
Authority, bond flags, names, and phones are copied from public U.S. government sources and may lag. Leading zeros on an MC are stripped. A live snapshot is not legal advice and not proof the person on the phone is the docket holder.
Accounts and removal
We may suspend an account that files in bad faith, scrapes the site, or posts unlawful content. We may remove a filing that is illegal, doxxing, or not about a freight-broker dispute. Removal is editorial hosting, not a ruling on the underlying debt.
